Maybe it wasn't so bad that I wasn't invited to any family functions in college.
I see a lot of reviews comparing Shiva Baby to Uncut Gems. I can see why people are drawing that comparison, but it didn't occur to me at all while I watched. Maybe it's because that stressed, claustrophobic panic is just how girls feel sometimes. Either way, I felt the gut punch of the guy being married to Dianna Agron to my core. As if it wasn't going badly enough for Dani in that moment, it's Dianna Agron?! Whew.

How It Feels
Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.
A tightly wound 78-minute comedy about a college student navigating the worst possible collision of her secrets at a Jewish funeral. It's claustrophobic and deeply awkward in the best way, anxiety-inducing but genuinely funny.
