I was expecting the worst when I put this on, but I was impressed with the outcome. It was better than this year's <i>Deep Sea</i> and maybe a little more fun but not as terrifying as <i>Open Water</i>. Great chemistry among the characters and a somewhat decent story, but the gore factor was lacking. Big time.
<b>Final thoughts:</b>
Many dumb decisions were made, such as driving a boat out into the middle of the ocean, resulting in senseless deaths. Next time, rent out a Chuck E. Cheese or do a bar crawl around New York City. It'll save you money... and lives.
