Well, that was awful.
It has more in common with something like Jupiter Ascending than Star Trek in look & feel.
It insults the viewers intelligence. Everything is SO DAMN OBVIOUS but they actually explain everything anyway like we’d all sit here and go, “Oh! That’s how it happened?! That’s who did it!” It is not that clever.
If you haven’t watched it, save yourself the time. Dial up a favorite TNG episode and forget this is a thing.
