It is shocking that The Boxtrolls doesn't involve Roald Dahl or Tim Burton. The James & the Giant Peach energy is through the roof.
The story is a little weird, but I love the aesthetics. It reminds me of the video game Little Nightmares. Elle Fanning's voice acting is very similar to her work in The Great, so it gets some bonus points there. I think mostly it is just so different than the other movies that were in my son's rotation at the time that I like it extra for the uniqueness.
