Mockingjay is a bit of a shift from the first two installments, being the first to not have an actual Hunger Games in the plot. Instead the focus is on the politics of the uprising, with time spend filming propaganda clips, visiting hospitals, and trying to recover hostages. It's still a very enjoyable watch and a quality addition to the franchise; it's just that it follows Catching Fire which is SO good.
