honestly better then the original as it uses that original film but add a different flavor to it, its more so a murder mystery ABOUT a supernatural being then a full on supernatural being film.
noami watts gives a decent performance and honestly the twist is great.
the cinematography is pretty good aswell as the pretty creepy atmosphere which i thought was one of the elements that worked in the original film.

How It Feels
Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.
A creeping supernatural horror that tightens its grip relentlessly, watching Rachel race against a seven-day countdown while investigating something genuinely unknowable feels like being pulled toward inevitable doom.

Reviews
The creepy little girl is also the voice of Lilo in Lilo & Stitch, so maybe think twice about watching any of those.
The Ring was such a pop culture moment and is never talked about anymore. It is a lot less scary than I remembered from when I was a teen.
