Overview

Rick and Michonne are thrown into another world, built on a war against the dead... And ultimately, a war against the living. Can they find each other and who they were in a place and situation unlike any they've ever known before? Are they enemies? Lovers? Victims? Victors? Without each other, are they even alive – or will they find that they, too, are the Walking Dead?

How It Feels

Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.

A stripped-down exploration of two people fighting to reconnect across chaos and moral ruin, where the real zombie is the system consuming them. It trades apocalypse scale for intimate devastation.

I carry my pro-Rick bias with me into this one. They squished a lot of plot into six episodes. Too much, the pacing was wild. It was just so exciting to have Rick back on The Walking Dead.
