A pulpy space-opera rescue mission unfolding across alien worlds with urgent momentum and genuine stakes. Beautifully animated sci-fi adventure that balances action with the emotional weight of a child's survival.

The passage of time through the eyes of young and old while the scientifically and fantastically world is searched through.

I kinda like it for that but also there isn't much else to it besides time and death. I love the animation, its rené laloux's style but mixed with character designs more rooted in European comics which I really like.

The characters aren't really anything to write home about and fantastic planet has a lot more to it while also having better atmosphere but I enjoy this one as well.
