Chris columbus is joining the washed directors counsel as this is not it.
What holds it back from letting the performances and mystery truly shine is its lack of compelling characters which is a shame because all of the actor do bounce of eachother its just that there is nothing for their respective characters.
They are very bland.
I also didn't really find the film all that funny, its kinda just mcu level humor.
The movie is not a looker, its a Netflix movie is thats not a suprise but I think the story is there, on paper but it really needed allot more for it to actually have its concept become fleshed out.
I wouldn't say I outright despise this film but its more so a lack of anything good in it that makes me give it 1 and a half star because I like some of the performances and thats kinda it.
