Shazam!

Shazam is my favorite DCEU movie, and I know that is not a popular opinion. The DCEU is a downer, so dark and brooding and serious. Shazam feels like the DCEU version of Ant-Man. I'm here for the vibes.

In between bits of lore and some action scenes, Shazam is primarily a teen comedy, and the jokes land. Billy gets a coming-of-age arc as he deals with being a foster kid in a new foster family. The characters are all likeable for the most part, and really even when they aren't, it's because sometimes teenagers are little jerks.
