How It Feels
Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.
A breezy romantic comedy where two people with genuine chemistry crash-land into pretending to date at a destination wedding, only to discover their friction was foreplay all along. It's comfort food that knows exactly what it is.

Anyone But You reminds me of the romcoms of the early 2000s. It is predictable but it has enough laughs to be a fun easy watch. This would have been a perfect summer movie when I was a teenager. I love the singing montage at the end, which is also very 2000s.
GaTa and Bryan Brown have my favorite moments, when they stage conversations loud enough for Glen Powell's character to overhear.
There are a few threads that seemingly lead nowhere. Ben ominously mentions his mom a few times, and the payoff later is that he says "She passed away" to Bea's parents. Sort of strange to set it up like five times, including multiple times with an oversized wrench, to then resolve it with three words. Darren Barnet is underutilized; we hear about the ex on and off, and when he shows up he gets maybe five sentences of dialogue.
