Overview
The Toro cheerleading squad from Rancho Carne High School in San Diego has got spirit, spunk, sass and a killer routine that's sure to land them the national championship trophy for the sixth year in a row. You know Jesse Bradford killed it when we are crushing on a character named CLIFF.
Honestly I'm appalled that this has an average rating of 3.3. On the surface, it's incredibly quoteable and fun with a fantastic cast, and "Just What I Need" is still a jam. Going deeper, it is about cultural appropriation and racial inequities. The Clovers are the underdogs, and Red and Aaron are the villains. The Toros are the protagonists but not heroes.
