A lot of fun revisiting this one. I have not seen it in decades!
Not the most original story, but the acting is fantastic. Quaid and Gossett Jr. put everything into their performances and helps this rise above what is effectively a generic sci-fi film.

Enemy Mine
Enemies because they were taught to be. Allies because they had to be. Brothers because they dared to be.

How It Feels
Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.
Two ideological enemies forced together in a desolate place gradually transcend their conditioning to forge an unlikely bond. It's a film about learning to see your enemy as fully human, wrapped in the stripped-down intensity of survival and dented by moments of unexpected intimacy.
