It was OK.
Made for the next generation and not old fogies like me. Sure there were lots of fan service moments, but they didn’t work for me as well as they did for “Afterlife”.
Frozen Empire is about as funny as Afterlife, mostly split between Paul Rudd and Kumail Nanjiani. A few parts of the plot are pretty cheesy, including a lot of Phoebe's scenes. Mckenna Grace is super talented and just doesn't get the best material here.
I wish Carrie Coon and Finn Wolfhard had bigger roles.
