Overview

Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a superhero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.

How It Feels

Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.

A charming action-comedy that pairs a weary veteran with an earnest young protege against a backdrop of Christmas, New York, and loose ends from the past. It's got genuine humor and heart alongside its superhero thrills.

This has officially secured it's spot on my annual holiday must watch list. I embrace everyone deciding what content is holiday for them (Gremlins? Die Hard? Harry Potter? Sure, why not?), but Hawkeye is so holiday it shouldn't even be up for debate. The villains even wear red and green track suits. Now that's holiday spirit.
