really fucking ugly to look at.
hollands version of spider man has never truly felt like the title character, he felt more like peter parker in name only.
tom is not a terrible actor but i honestly feel like his line delivery was allot of the time the same, the same tone and mannerismes for like anything happening.also his trilogy is very fucking ugly visually, especially this one.
the worst offender in this is that on paper, without the nostalgia fan baiting its pretty decent in terms of story but then the nostalgia fan baiting gets inserted and it loses me.
every spoken word between all three spider men feel cringey and weak.
all of these movies have a pretty weak script.
i don't think tobey and garfield's version feel allot different from their original flicks but there is a strange weirdness to they're dynamic.
praising eachother every chance they get which does not feel natural at all and just the lines they chose for both returning spider men and villains feel incredible forced.
"im something of a scientist myself" is cool, its a meme but you aren't trying to win me over that making the old villains the villains in this film isn't just for a buck.
tom himself is fine but there is an issue when it comes to may's sacrifice and thats the fact may is not a character in these movies.
she has no personality(this counts for ned and mj aswell)jon watts is not a specifically good director and just a larger issue with this universe is its goal to form these characters into the same tone.
the film still has one scene with my goat julius dell however.
i think fans of the trilogy over the last few weeks have been irritatingly exhausting because of the brand new day suit and set pictures.
i think there is something like but there is also things to hate and saying you can't be excited to see brand new day if you didn't like tom's trilogy is kinda bullshit.
Fuck the movie version of lizard.
All my homies hate the movie version of lizard.
Even the movie doesn't give a shit about the movie version of lizard.
I don't care about the plotholes because I only care about Andrew Garfield and J Jonah Jameson
