They actually kinda made it good???
Honestly i want more sam raimi in the mcu and let him fully direct him.
Also me want a wong movie directed by sam raimi
I hope this eventually becomes the closest the MCU could have to a cult hit. It keeps the trippy visuals from the first Doctor Strange, the only thing I really liked about it, and adds Sam Raimi horror elements. This sets it apart from the rest of the MCU, and I can see it being pretty polarizing.
Wanda is my favorite, whether she's a hero or a villain. I wouldn't say I was fully rooting for her, but I wasn't NOT rooting for. Elizabeth Olsen can do it all, and she fully commits to the camp.
Rachel McAdams gets to do a lot more this time around. I love when Doctor Strange says, "You guys sure must know a lot about the Multiverse if you've got someone going around naming realities" and Christine replies, "Yes, me." Yeah that's right it's you, Christine!
Favorite (Not Necessarily Best) Four From Every Year Since Birth
Pretty good. Dark at times. Real dark!
While it is relatively easy to overcome in this film, something that is becoming increasingly an issue with Marvel movies is that they are assuming you are well versed in EVERYTHING within the Marvel universe.
Someone with even a little less knowledge of “Wandavision” than I, which is nearly nothing as I didn’t watch the show, might find this movie frustrating.
