By far my favorite of the 1970s ‘Zilla films. Just the right amount of being over the top.
Love the human characters too.
It’s unfortunate that the budget was cut before production, which forced Fukuda to use some stock footage, but I’m also glad that it forced them to keep it a bit campy. Apparently, the original plan was to bring it back to the darker themes of the original film.
