How It Feels

Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.

A darkly funny sci-fi horror that blends genuine scares with comedic chaos as a small town teacher confronts both an alien nightmare and messy human relationships. It's horror-comedy that doesn't shy away from either side.

After a limited theatrical run, promoted heavily with an incredible soundtrack, Ick feels like your typical teen horror flick that runs along the lines of The Faculty and any other teen (not just horror) film you can think of. Predictable, a bit funny at times, and full of dark CGI madness, the "ick" is the main character of the film as it grows and eventually takes over a small city, turning people into hosts to spread itself around. There's more to the backstory of its existence, which would've been more interesting than the father-daughter story that was forced, but it's still a film worth getting sticky and stuck with.
