the psychological dump we become after a breakup is something a lot of people have come to terms with. its not pretty and most of the time consists of doing nothing.
but the film also shows the eventually healing of one and blossoming of another or does it?what heales us and why do we chose love? chantal akkerman minimilistic style benefits not only this but also many other stories she tells and the black and white cinematography is really good.

A stark, unflinching portrait of emotional dissolution following loss, a film that dwells in the quiet spaces of desire and devastation. It's a work of radical intimacy that trusts silence and physicality over explanation.
