Stuber is as good as you expect it to be from the trailers. It could be better; Kumail is consistent and raises the average, and Bautista turned Drax into the secret comedic weapon of the Guardians franchise.
Back when more comedies were theatrically released, this is the kind that would show second at the drive-in, after the Apatow one ended.

How It Feels
Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.
A high-energy buddy-cop romp that prioritizes laughs over logic, as a wisecracking Uber driver and a gruff, half-blind detective stumble through a drug case together. It's the kind of film that knows exactly what it is, chaotic, absurd, and designed to entertain rather than challenge.
