The first time they meet, Elise is a public bathroom manic pixie dream girl who sits on the bathroom counter in her fancy dress.

The second time they meet, Elise is a public bus manic pixie dream girl who puts his new flip phone in his coffee.

I never got over the phone in the coffee. I'm supposed to get on board with them being destined to be all time loves based on those two interactions?!
