Overview

When Kate joins her boyfriend’s friends at a remote countryside retreat, old wounds resurface as strange lights appear in the sky. As unease grows, members of the group begin to change—becoming unnervingly calm, kind, and “nice.” Dismissed as unstable, Kate struggles to convince the others something is wrong before the force behind it spreads.

How It Feels

Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.

A slow-burn invasion thriller where the most terrifying transformation isn't violent but insidiously civilized, leaving you to watch the protagonist gaslight herself while isolation closes in. The unease builds from interpersonal tension into something profoundly wrong, and no one else seems to notice or care.
