Its a pretty fun film and the characters have a pretty good family dynamic but after the double gangers enter the film it becomes fine, its still pretty good film making wise, the cinematography looks good, the direction is pretty good and the acting is great but they could've added more layers to the whole family as a....whole.

I think I'd like to see Winston Duke lean into these dad-in-glasses roles.

The first hour or so is such a satisfying horror movie. Once it starts explaining itself, I have more questions than answers, and it is a bit frustrating. I went into it knowing I felt that way last time and tried to compartmentalize it, but it wore me down in the last act.

I can't tell if this will be way better on the rewatch or if it'll lose some of the intrigue. Overall it's pretty effective as a creepy thriller. The concept is interesting. There are some plot holes around how this doppelganger community is surviving, but I think this is a case of just forgiving those parts for the sake of the big picture.
