Trainspotting is a film that fascinates me, for all its weird, filthy and jarring decisions.......somehow it all kinda works out because it helps make the theme of substance abuse seem more impact full.
Ewan McGregor is a great actor but it always suck that most people only and only know him as obi Wan because
He is more then that, giving an excellent performance allongside the rest of the cast.(Also watch my newest film My review of shadows scare me on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/9XU0h7 )

Heroin addict Mark Renton stumbles through bad ideas and sobriety attempts with his unreliable friends -- Sick Boy, Begbie, Spud and Tommy. He also has an underage girlfriend, Diane, along for the ride. After cleaning up and moving from Edinburgh to London, Mark finds he can't escape the life he left behind when Begbie shows up at his front door on the lam, and a scheming Sick Boy follows.

How It Feels
Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.
A visceral, darkly funny descent into the lives of Edinburgh junkies caught in cycles of addiction and petty crime, told with hallucinatory energy and brutal honesty. It's exhilarating and repulsive in equal measure, a film that doesn't look away from the wreckage.
