This film was a breath of fresh air. Unlike the first film’s evil ghost spirit, <I>Unfriended: Dark Web</i> takes us to the darkest parts of the Internet, where anything illegal goes, such as murder, money transactions, and kidnapping setups. One by one, we see each character face their death in creative ways, from being pushed in front of a subway car to a police shootout. The film’s tied up at the very end in a clever manner, and I hope that Blumhouse continues this franchise.
