How It Feels

Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.

A darkly comic mystery that uses a podcaster's self-serving investigation into a woman's death to expose the absurdity and alienation lurking beneath both true-crime entertainment and modern masculinity. It's a satirical portrait of someone desperate to turn tragedy into narrative.

I am a fan of BJ Novak's writing in general. The Office, The Book With No Pictures, One More Thing: Stories and Other Stories. So overall, I thought this was well-written. It was a pretty solid mystery, and I was very surprised by the ending.

I think Dove Cameron's character deserves a better name than Kansas City though.
