its alright, i thought it did have something interesting to tell but i just didn't feel it.
the performance are great, didn't like the cinematography at all, it looks really boring to look at.

We treat our fellow humans like garbage, especially in those younger years but the fact is, we never escape that cycle of torment we put on eachother.

I don't think raw is perfect, not every character feels like an actual character but i think for a directorial debute there is a lot to chew on, especially thematically.
Every performance is great and as we see the unraveling of our main character being a cannibal, we realizes that they and everyone else already were cannibals.

The score is so good for such a short film.
Also French remains one of the prettiest languages ever, its just that the French have it in their grasp.

Bendy was a lil' devil thing
Who was brought to life on the silver screen
Used to make 'em chuckle now
He makes 'em scream
It's Bendy in The Devil's Swing
Flash back to the place that
Made the cartoons sing
Where the cobwebs grow and
The floorboards creak
And it's all connected to an evil scheme
It's Bendy and the Ink Machine
Dreams do come true
I was deceived by Joey Drew
And now I'm coming after you
Who's laughing now?
You thought that you could cut me out
But now the ink is pouring down
Bendy was created out of ink
And then molded into a 3D beast
You can hear him coming by his tapping feet
It's Bendy in The Devil's Swing
Snap back to the era when the swing was king
But the workshops fading and
Behind the scenes
There's a deep dark secret hidden underneath
It's Bendy and the Ink Machine
Hey Joey! I got your message!
There's still a sketch on my old work desk
It might have a been a bit overzealous
To collect all six of those office relics
I haven't seen my peers in over 30 years
But there's no one here
Except grinding gears and my rising fears
The illusion of living
Was only the beginning
Ink incarnate that's sinning
Presented in Sillyvision

Bendy was a villain out of sync
Now he's off the page and he's on the brink
And his ol' pal Boris might
Have lost a spleen
It's Bendy in The Devil's Swing
A cartoon cutout that'll make you shriek
Yeah your heart starts racing when
You hear that beat
The creator's brain might have sprung a leak
It's Bendy and the Ink Machine
1-2-3 to 3D
You and Me ink Machine
Flashing screens dancing fiend
Bendy sings devil's Swing

The film was fine, messy but fun.

The cinematography is nice, Brendan frasher's performance was good but outside of that you have such empty characters. Sadie sinks characters is borderline annoying and the concept of "teenagers are like that" is a stretch to say the least with this character.

All I see is a gay man who has done some wrong things in his life but not to the degree where he needs to be punished THIS muchm
I think the movie is more of a showcase of how cruel and unsympathetic cis people are to queer people then anything the movie is trying to do.

Really loved the ending.

It really paints a picture of how men repeatedly show no sign of respect to woman, they use woman for their own gain and ditch them when they don't need them anymore.
I also think the main character is not just a 1 dimensional characicature to only be used for those problems but rather her journey is seeking herself AND a display of problems with how men treat woman.
Great stuff. The cinematography is also wonderful.

Really loved this, this piece about fake revolutionists, fake politic people that only sit in a building, only do useless stuff. They shout, they say they wave their hands but nothing ever substantial is done to make something they deem bad, better.

Someone said I should watch this next because it foreshadows a lot of leftists and they were right. Im not saying being leftist sucks as much as being right but there is a lot of bark but no bite in the case of so many leftists.
I think if anything, if you are just like these characters then you are kind of a coward.
Just do something, make a film, make a painting, use your skills to draw attention instead of sitting in a building doing nothing.

A great film about the surrounding politics we never can avoid even when its not present physically in our lives.

I think godard's style really helps the film standout from other films that do similaire stuff. The performances are great and the ending speech is fantastic

really, REALLY confusing until the third act where i realized what was going on and everything made sense.
outside of its story, its really cool in its lighting and atmosphere.

godard style is certainly unique and i like it, i think its far better utilized in this then it was in breathless, in its editing, performances, just everything.
