A pretty fun horror flick that i'll probably revisit yearly.
Its one of those early horror films i obsessed over but thats just kinda it, overall my taste in movies as a whole has changed and while i still admire this film for its great cast, good cinematography and fun setpieces.....the writing is not that good.
The tone is all over the place, half of the losers club are underdeveloped.
The actors give them some personality but its not enough.
Also henry bowers is fine but he gets like 5 or 6 scenes.

In a small town in Maine, seven children known as The Losers Club come face to face with life problems, bullies and a monster that takes the shape of a clown called Pennywise.

How It Feels
Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.
A horror film that balances genuine scares with the tenderness of childhood friendships, grounding its supernatural terror in the very real horrors of growing up. It's genuinely frightening but ultimately about the strength found in connection.

Recent Reviews
This houses one of my favorite performances in a movie, bill skarsgard as pennywise is phenomanol
My biggest fear is Twitter
Just as good on the rewatch. I love Ben and his NKOTB fandom. Did they go a little too wild with Bowers though? Carving his name in kids and everything? It's a bit much.
I know I didn't really like Chapter Two though, and watching this makes me feel like I HAVE to rewatch Chapter Two also.
