How It Feels
Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.
A meticulously crafted slow-burn catastrophe where ordinary people become trapped in escalating confusion and moral uncertainty as civilization unravels. The dread accumulates not from jump scares but from the creeping realization that no one, inside or outside the house, truly understands what's happening.

Reviews
Julia Roberts and Mahershala Ali dance to Next "Too Close" on vinyl, and that alone makes it worth a watch.
Leave the World Behind ALMOST works for me, but the payoff never quite lands. I like all of the slow tension building of the first act, and then it sort of trails off. There are large periods where it feels like nothing significant happens, but even removing those sections and shortening the runtime wouldn't really solve it for me.
This film had so much potential. The scenery/setting was fitting, but the acting and dialog was just boring. They had this fantastic cast (Hawke, Ali, Bacon, Roberts), but it looks and feels like they just were just hired to draw an audience, and then fuck them over by forcing them to sit and watch a long, boring film. If that’s the case, they won.
