Major Jessica Day / Zoey Deschanel energy from Emilia Clark here. Also major "adapted from a romance novel" vibes.
It is definitely not like any other romance movie I've seen before, with the whole assisted suicide plot and all.
It's a pretty good watch if you don't think critically about it, and if you don't mind two Ed Sheeran songs (I like Ed, but it's weird that there are two). At its core, it's still a romance novel though, and it leans into the cheesiness and tropes. The guy literally lives in a castle.

How It Feels
Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.
A tender romance between two people from different worlds, complicated by one character's struggle with whether life is worth living. It's emotionally heavy and ultimately confronts difficult questions about autonomy and love.
