Micheal shannon is great but idk whst else to say.
Willem dafoe is fun but willem dafoe is always fun.
i think its charming enough by A, not PERFORMANCES, A GREAT PERFORMANCE because david spade is not horrible but he doesn't match the energy of farley.
Its not even fucking funny how better this is then most modern dutch films.
Its got a strong emotional core and fun characters.
Its really sad to see someone beloved one fall to alzheimer.
remake this into a horror film
actually a pretty fun film with a good leading performance.
its not anything more then just good, i think the brothers dick and max we're definitly a bit underdeveloped.
but its great to see old micheal keaton in a good film that isn't birdman.
also its so weird to see a story of a place you work at unfold.
Im sorry but i preffer this over the 2000s classic.
The pacing was much better and i preffer denzel washington over pheonix.
I can't tell what people's problem is with mescal, he is was great(not as great as russel crow)
Also the two brothers weren't that amazing but i think joseph quinn was not as bad as people said.Also im of the opinion that people should stop complaining when a sequel has the same setup but entirely different things that make it its owne.
Yes both gladiator films are the same story wise if you read the synopsis or asked your friend.
Both are about gladiators who dear ones died in a malicious act by someone and they have to fight there way out of a colloseum but so many in things in between that is different and fresh enough in my opinion.
acting was great and some of the characters we're great.
but i think some of the characters we're pretty shallow.
visually it looks great but then the story is not my cup and tea.
i think its fun to geuss whats gonna be revealed but it feels like the weight of that is not felt, at least for me.
the very first month of this year feels like an eternity away.
thats when i watched every bong joon ho film, my first few foreign films.
it opened a gate to more movies, i shouldn't contain myself to just english films.
i heard allot of buzz about this movie even before watching it for the first time.
im glad someone recommended me to watch bong's films.
because now im watching allot of foreign films.
even if its a generic opinion, this is still my favorite foreign film.
i know i've changed my number 4 favorite movie allot these past few weeks but thats because 4-7 on my list of favorites are incredible close.
there all so amazing so i don't know wich one to choose.should i choose come and see?

or should i choose high and low?longlegs, clerks 2 and the thing are definitly solidified as my top 3 but as for my 4th favorite, its a hard choice.
i think its kinda boring in its first half but picks up in its middle.
after that it becomes a joy to watch.

its a pretty bleak film but i don't think it was more then that.
but i do think with rewatches, i will apreciate it more.

Im luckily this november was the month one of my theaters showed allot of wim wenders films and this is one of my favorite movies.
Its just a vibe.
Wim wenders before this, at least from what i can see, has not had a good run before this movie but i can't totally judge but its clear they haven't been well received.
I think he maybe noticed that to because he came back with this banger and im happy he did.
Its simple beautifull.
