Its so obvious there was almost no passion behind this film.
From the lackluster script to lame characters.
This is suppose to be based off the classic universal monster.....but this is not a horror film, its an action film wich is already a bad decision.
There are some horror elements but it tries to combine it with action and it just doesn't do that very well.

The plot is as thin as a piece of paper.
The dialogue is all over the place.
The performances are mediocre as shit.
The visual effects are awful.
EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS IS WHAT COULD GO WRONG WITH A FILM JAMMED INTO ONE WEIRD, FUCKED UP MOVIE EXPERIENCE😭😭😭😭😭

Really paint by the numbers.
Its not even terrible but its also not good.
I found the film to be extremely generic, it doesn't dive into mercury's sexuality enough or how the world thought of that because i bet my ass that allot of people we're weirded out by that at the time.
Another thing is that the band members that aren't freddie are not that compelling or interesting, they have no character.
sebastian stan is great in this but i don't think they went far enough except for one scene.
its kinda insane how well known all of this is but still doesn't get acknowledged allot.
Smile 2 was a good movie but the amount of jumpscares while terrifying were annoying, it wasn't fun scary anymore but just annoying.
It didn't allow the scares to breath.
At the end it was jumpscare after jumpscare.
The ending i like tho because the film doesn't end on a jumpscare but a long grotesque body horror that doesn't need any loud music.
Also thats annoying.
The as many jumpscares as there are, there is always loud music acompanying them

its a phenomonal film about being rich and poor.

do i know what it tries to convey?
yes.
its brilliant that even as our set of main character grow more and more into worse people, you still realize that they don't have allot of options but they also don't have to go about it in this way.
the rich family is sympathetic because the poor family like PARASITES attach them to this rich family and their money but then you think....does this rich family care about people like our main characters?
i love bong joon ho and his films.
