Not entirely my cup of tea but i can see why people love it.
The films looks beautifull and its really nice seeing travis and his son reconnect but the film kinda loses me a little bit in the second hour before picking up at the scene where travis is at the glass window.

This is a pretty good bad movie but a very large chunk of the film also is just very boring to watch
one of the longest film i have ever seen.
it also EARNS that.
the film like all the character is aimless, its human but only in the last hour it focuses more on a few specific characters.
its also mostly night in the last hour, that could be concidence but i would like to believe that its on purpose.
for a film with such a normal cast has allot of violence to the point of murder and gang wars.
but these gangs are all comprised off 15 year old kids.
they ain't got their life straight because they have no goal nor any idea of the future.
just random violence and aimlessingly going day threw day with meaningless, random and for no good reason violence.
i do think it will grow on me over time, its definitly a movie that feels like you'll get a different perspective on every other year of you're life.
Yes, this movie is good
Its incredible.
So dissapointed that major theaters near me didn't show it.
Only one showing in a small theater and that was sold out.
Anyway the film is compelling because as someone who spend hours upon hours drawing this hits very close to home.
Am i a major manga artist?
No but its still genuinely impressive how someones view on art is shown threw 2 character and 58 minutes.
So glad my theater was packed.
It litteraly is just that good.

The characters feel very lifeless😭
The animation is horrible dated but the story, vibe and things like the monster design of the house make up for it.
the fact this shit got leaked is the funniest shit ever and on top off that, it FUCKING SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!
