this movie comebines the first four movies and takes the best part out of them but yeah the characters besides jason are forgetable and some are dick heads but that makes there deathes more fun to watch and this movie

this movie is just a fun slasher movie withe great characters
its has for more humor but its still had some terrifying moments and in the first one the charachters where likeable enough but ash becomes the charachter we all now and love in this film in the first one hes just a guy but in this movie hes just batshit insane and a real fun character and the side characters are like th first one likeable enough
i really love this movie withe its gory kills and its sucks that laurie is always in the hospital but we get some nice interactions withe other characters and theres some funny dialogeu
this is scary and micheal is great,the music really helps it withe the atmosphere and donald pleasant( rest in peace )is great as dr.loomis and jamie lee curtis is also pretty good as laurie.
its also more of a suspendfull movie wich is good for a first movie and not seing him that much is also good and thats why h.ends wasnt that good it felt like micheal was just slapt onto a another movie
this movie is a product of studio medilling and if mancini had just a few more years to make a script it could have been great but no this movie is boring and just the same as the first two
its bigger,better and a little bit overrated yeah its good but not nearly as poeple hype it up but i do understand why this is many peoples favorite chucky movie

its a loveable mess,music is great as always but nerfing micheal is weird and making cory the main villian is an interesting concept if it was not the last halloween movie but i think its better then wat if heard of halloween 6,ressurection and 5.
Ridley scott's last two films felt like brutal fights where no escaped.
So its a nice contrast that this is a lot more melancholy and tender with its aproach towards loneliness. Jacob elordi is actually decent here while guy pearce, margaret qualley and josh brolin all give fun performances.
Im suprised at how it ended but i think its appropriate to focus more on the human connection rather then end it with a big action sequence.Its a lot less tighter and strict in its direction then previous ridley films but it being allowed to be more loose is fantastic. I will say sometimes it can be all over the place but i think sometimes thematically it works and other times it doesn't. Either way the cinematography is great and its fun to see something with a lot of money behind it that looks like this.

Im just slightly kidding, i've heard a lot of great things about it and it always catched my eye sometimes while searching through letterboxd on what i wanted to watch that day. I think matt damon is great but the one issue i have is that while i think matt damon's character somewhat well rounded....everyone around him simply is not. I would argue a performance can elevate or make a character work even when the script doesn't give them much but i just am incredible detached from most of these people. I struggle to understand why will hunting is chosen to be smart in the script because its not really an end goal rather a transitional one and while its not as close in relationship with the mythical "american dream" like this years french film "the american dream".....it still in relation with that which isn't inherently a problem, i like a lot of films that are a template for such a film but the film doesn't know if it wants to reject or accept it so its stuck in the middle. In the end its love that wins, maybe that is the rejection but that love isn't interesting either, i don't feel much chemistry between those two so rejection within the story isn't satisfying at all.
I also would say i find it very boring to look at on multiple occasions. I really like when it goes for an extreme close up to make us feel like we can't escape the feelings of will but when its not doing that its visually dull.
