I regret watching this.
Perfect. Absolutely perfect.
One of the worst films ever. While “Popeye’s Chicken’s fuckin’ awesome”, this movie is not.
I was in the mood for a feel good film, and this did just that. That’s the review.
Both the kid from The Sandlot and Tony Soprano’s daughter need new agents.
While this is not Russell Crowe’s first villain role, it’s probably one of his best. Overall, the film was a surprise—it’s actually good (not amazing, but good).
<b>Note</b>: I subtracted one star because the kid from <i>Child’s Play </i>(the new one) is in it.

Jason Takes Canada is, in my opinion, the worst film in the franchise (it’s a tie between V and X).
Army of the Dead has been on my watchlist for months, so I/we were quick to fire up Netflix this evening to watch it on the day of its premiere. Zack Snyder’s Dawn of the Dead is one of my favorite films, and was expecting the same for this one.
The opening credits were fantastic, but too long. It felt like a movie of its own. As we’re introduced to a number of characters, we quickly discover what type of people they are (and can easily predict their demise). Some (maybe most) of the dialogue was unnecessary. We weren’t given too much information as to how the new zombies were stronger, smarter, and had the ability to communicate. Zombie tigers and horses are another story.
Overall, some of the action was great, but there were a few subplots that we could’ve cared leas about.
If they film a sequel to Army of the Dead, you bet that I’ll watch it day one, but I hope ZS and his team work out some of the kinks first (and make a scary, gory, less humor-filled film).
My rating: 3 out of 5 stars (that means it’s good, not great).
After its long-awaited release, <i>Spiral</i> delivers a fresh new take to the franchise, this time from Chris Rock. Like every <i>Saw</i> film before it, Spiral delivers fresh, gruesome traps for its victims. While many are seen onscreen, we are provided with flashbacks of the traps in action, which piece together bits of the film to tell the copycat killer’s purpose.
Should fans of the franchise be excited for <i>Spiral</i>? Yes! Why? There are so many potential accomplices, followers, and/or stories in the <i>Saw</i> universe to continue to feed us, and we will always be hungry.
