Simply put, these are not the same characters. This is not randall and dante or at least not the ones they pretend to be.
Randall isn't as effective when toned down(at least when he isn't written by kevin smith)

the reason why randall works in the animated show is because:
1-he's still played by jeff anderson
2-he's written in a way that still retains his cocky-ness while fitting a more toned down animated universe.

This randall is cocky but the worst he gets is spoiling movie plots but the worst offense is that i don't think the actor playing him does a great job.
Also its hillarious how they try to replicate the plot of the first movie in a 22 format but the reason it doesn't work is because dante is right but at the end he's proven right but somehow he's still childish according to his girlfriend veronica.

i love that the croods is trending in meme culture again because while its messaging is kinda generic, its kinda hillarious.
also we should thank the people who gave us nicolas cage as grug.

There once was a person, that person wanted to surf in his hometown.
But that hometown is very protective of its turf. But what becomes of a place when that protection turns into violence, violence that is cheered upon and said to be needed but is it?
These people are men, there are no woman in this kingdom. They don't rule. The person tries and tries and tries but every step the man takes he gets knocked down. The men make it him wise that he's the problem, the nuisance. The men think the person owes them something, something so that he can get absorbed into they're madness.

The persons watch?
Phone?
Identity?

These men strip the person of everything until they have nothing and begins to spiral into madness.
At the end the person for a brief moment becomes just like them, a shell of their former self.

That's how toxic masculinity partially works.
With men they force them into being mold a certain way until you are identical but they don't just do that, they mess with your mind, it tries to make you think a certain way.
With woman, they strip them of their dignity no matter what age.
They hold them hostage until there is no escape. They'll make you think your stuck until it's to late.
Lorcan finnegan's the surfer I believe will be seen as a modern classic.
Over time people will recognize what it has to tell and how it tells that.
Imo Nicolas cage represents both genders and what toxic masculinity can transform them into or do to them.

There is something magical about this film. a forbiden love crafted from one moment.
Ronny is a true lover, he knows its wrong but he also knows love is stronger then both right and wrong wich clashes wich Lorreta who's on her way to get married very soon but one night turns into something bigger. she doesn't wanna give in but, she to has big feelings for Ronny.
in the end they get married while johnny doesn't.
imo, this movie represents carefullness on what you say yes to because either way you'll eventually find what you have sought after.
did Lorreta actually want to get married to johnny?

why is this my favorite nicolas cage movie?
well....i think its because it has this akward energy wich i've been feeling more and more and more and more.
acompanied with a hint of dread. i think thats why it speaks to me so much. because there is a part of me deep in here. i always get qeustioned why i love nicolas cage so much, his acting is a part of that but i really love about him is again...i can see so much of myself in his public perception and acting style.
cage is misunderstood and frowned upon because he doesn't fit into anything. many people see it as him just being lazy and not good but thats really just the opposite.
he works very hard for the things he wants to achieve and his craft.
maybe thats why i connect with this movie so much. it represents my akward but also my feel of dread at the same time. it represents why im not happy. it represents how i think and how i act. everything here just screams me.
i think cage and i want the same thing, we want to be understood.
we don't want to be seen as a joke by society.
im not really happy these last few weeks wich kinda fucking sucks.
work is the only place were i people don't use my deadname.....wich makes it all the more frustrating when i get back home and be called by.....well not my name. i know i can count on nic because nic makes me feel like he knows exactly how to comfort me with every line of delivery of his. he can make me feel happy again. THATS why im so passionate about him, at least one of the reasons.
im crying while making this review lol.

Staying up until midnight to watch This 164 minute action delight was Worth it.
The music is insanely good wich made Up for some weird line delivery and Fine cinematography.
Call me crazy but I do not like how Most(and keyword is MOST) of this Movie looks. It looks like every action Film nowadays and that's tiresome.

Such a great film imo.
I do think the color grading is sometimes a bit to much....yellow?
Idk but it rubbed me the wrong way but other then that I loved it.
Philip Seymour Hoffman played a pretty good villain, ethan and the team are as likeable as ever and i felt that it had allot higher stakes then the first two films.
