clerks 3 is maybe rough and it really shows how smith has not grown much as a film maker but i still love it.
it works for me because jeff anderson and brian o'halleron HAVE grown as actors, i wished they got more roles outside of kevin smith movies.
it works for me because i think while the first two movies are calling out dante, this time its randall. randall has always been kinda an asshole but he never needed to be more then that until now.

for all its short comings and amateur sense of film making which i can relate to very heavily, that adds to the feeling of it being just a camera sitting in a store, in front of a man working there.
just like it did the 1nd and 2nd watch, it inspired to me to find new ways to make something.

Kinda hate this film.
I am not immune to cheezyness but this is just to much.
I don't find a single character enjoyable or compelling to watch.
The ending feels so on the nose and stupid asf and the cinematography apart from one cool looking shot looks very dull in my opinion.
Its really 70s, like one of the most 70s things ever and that works for some but not for me.

Brady Corbet's the brutalist is amazing, its pacing threwout its 3 hour and 21 minute runtime is amazing(maybe a bit slow near the end but it makes sense for the story)
the story about a person trying to regain himself and his soul in his art.
i think the dialogue and exhanges in conversations is really engaging.
adrien brody gives a great performances but i would be lying if i wouldn't say that this is not the best performance of last year that got nominated at the oscars.

sam raimi's drag me to hell is a complicated film.

so many weird and boring things but at the same time not all of those weird things are bad, allot of the aspects of this film are good.
i think some of the films editing is to quick and i think we do get ENOUGH so that we know who christine is.
also i think justin long is an insanely underrated actor and i really liked him in this even tho i think we should've gotten more of him.
there are some vfx that look bad but there is also just allot of practical things in the film that i can forgive that.

really good entry.
i think its weird how christopher made this and fallout wich both look pretty great but then you have dead reckoning.
i always forget jeremy renner was in two of these movies and never again but tbh its not like his character was that memorable, it does give hunt someone to butt heads with ig.

as always seymour hoffman is great, i love his outfits in this film aswell but im not really interested in anything going on.
its not bad but i also don't really find any character engaging to watch.

such a lifeless piece of trash thats not propoganda but also not good.
iraq and its citizens don't get any focus and so by exstention it says nothing meaningfull.
i don't care for these soldiers because they are there to carry out an evil mission. my sympathy's lie with the people who were in the crossfire but we never get to see that because the movie is to afraid to do so.
with this story you could've said so many things but yet the movie says so little besides "war is scary"
get a fucking grip, you are not doing anything new and so you don't say anything, you are just repeating what better movies have said.
the acting is decent.
the sound of the film is pretty good as well but i can't really give it anything above half a star because imo, a war film about something a country did, MADE IN THAT COUNTRY, BY ONE OF THE PEOPLE WHO WAS THERE AND THE FILM SAYS NOTHING NEW AND JUST VOID OF ANYTHING TO SPEAK OF THEN YOU DON'T DESERVE MORE THEN THAT.

I think its an incredibly looking film that feels like its trying to tell me something very, VERY important but i can't figure out what it is.
I love the story and journey of the film, its a very good statement on life and death but it feels like im missing SOMETHING AND IM NOT CRAZY.
