Logan lucky is pretty good overall.
Its another sodenbergh heist film and its seems to me that he works the best in that genre.
The cinematography is hit or miss with some shots looking great and others look flat and boring but at least its better looking then his previous two films.
The characters are charming, they aren't the amazingly written or anything but the chemistry of the cast really helps allot(also seth mcfarlane is in this)
The story is decent enough, its not mindblowing.
And lastly this is not really a case like in little miss sunshine where i missed the point of the last half hour or so, no this film plays the beauty pageant for kids very straight.
I find those things disgusting and should never exist in the first place lol

its second hour is definitly a bit slow but i really enjoyed the characters and both main performances.
micheal douglas is really charming in his role and him and matt damon are gay/bisexual, can i ask for more?
genuinely hated this as its not interesting, neither its story or characters are good.
steven sodenbergh needs to get a grasp on himself and learn that while experimenting is a good thing, those experiments should pay off after like the 10th time and not become worse every time

not as horrid as saltburn and i do think the topics it tries to comment on are important but damm the execution is so bland.
you are left with boring and uninteresting characters and story.
the story is all over the place and honestly the last 20 came out of no where and while some parts of the film tackle the same thing, that being men taking advantage of woman, the topic felt so in and out of focus.
aside from that the script is honestly awful with lame unfunny jokes.
its incredible how pta seemlessly makes everything connected.
every performance is great and the best thing about this film is that its just people, real people living.
just like in real life, we all live in our own world but all of those worlds are connected.

While the first film was definitly brought down by a simple plot and terrible jokes wich yes this seqeul still retains a little bit of that but besides that this seqeul is infinitly better.
Like holy shit this is such a good seqeul and the animation is jaw dropping.
The 3rd act goes on for a little to long but thats a minor issue.
Don't miss this because its from china pls.

it makes you qeustion wether or not our so called protagonist is doing the right thing or not and obviously its clear what extreme line he'll cross in the name of vengeance.
if he arrested him like he should've, less people would've been hurt but its obvious from every beatdown he gives that he thinks of revenge first and justic and the people last.
I really like how they explore the idea of being a male stripper but i also like 1 of the three main characters.
Also its not hot at all.
Instead of maybe dedicating itself to the actual country and its problems, be it political or the society, it instead is just insanely bland and stereotypical.
I really fucking hated this thing because it was boring, no character was interesting and threwout the whole the whole film i felt nothing.
Holland also known as the netherlandse is more then this stereotypical bullshit.
Its a land with problems and terrible people in it.
Loads of racisme and homophobia among kids and adults alike.
Now this is a huge problem in almost every country but what i find the most suprising is that i don't see any adult speak up.
Not school.
Not any parents.
At my school especially its very apparant nobody cares about minorities, my school is filled with white kids.
There is only like 1% that is not white but anyway, these kids scream racial slurs and homophobic sentences daily, even one kid, who is black doesn't care when a white kid says a fucking slur.
Im gonna be the woke friend for a sec and say that if you allow that then you are part of the problem.
I live in the netherlandse and i think this could have been a great film if it actually dedicated itself to learn the culture and people but its a streaming film so it has to be garbage and quickly made i geuss.
