I really like the comedy in this film, its not oh brother, where art thou levels of greatness but it stands on its own.
I love brad pitt's character and his little quirks.
Its fun seeing john malkovich since i haven't seen allot of films that have him besides the obvious con air wich also has nicolas cage.
Also how did brad pitt's character think creepy-ly smiling gives off "don't shoot me" energy?
Its not great when it comes to its story or characters but when you have a guy who needs to feel adrenaline to stay alive and the film feels like we experience that with him it becomes a blast.
The cinematography is average at best(who cares tho) and the music helps it in evoking the feeling of a coked up adrenaline feeling experience.
I kinda hated this since like.......the characters aren't even terrible in a traditional sense, they are all blank slates, no one as any actual character.
The cast is amazing but thats like the only character this entire film has.

Honestly i like it but i also really can't give it a higher rating rn.
I love how the film is shot and the locations presented, the story is pretty interesting and the actors do a great job.
I just don't fully embrace the characters, i think jamie foxx and colin farrel have great chemistry together but when they aren't together they feel pretty hollow to me.
Jason statham, the rock, kevin hart, mark wahlberg, the mountrushmore of "we were in 2 or 3 good films and then only starred in slop"
perfect first film to watch after realizing im trans, very sigma movie.
anyway on second watch i still love this fucking film, its fun, its got huge amount of character, its really funny and also i just love robert pattinson in this film. the fact it got thrown on digital not even a week after mediocre marketing was a shame but honestly the funniest part is that wb is doing it AGAIN with one battle after another wich is directed by paul thomas anderson.
i love how mickey 17 looks, i love cinematography of sci fi and sci fi made by an aclaimed director is 100% gonna look awesome. it doesn't have as much color variety but oh well.
Insane how well this is shot despite having not allot of shot variety and the fact the rest of this thing is downright mediocre at best.
I do not care about this person who does a trip around places, meets undedeveloped side characters and then dies.
This film has been in my watchlist for a very long time because of the fact this fucking samurai has like 21 fucking films😭
Anyway this film is really great, the main character is smart and funny at the same time.
The sidecharacters are all delightfull to.
Its like dogshit but the theater clapping and cheering everytime something happened was so fucking funny.
Like more people clapped to this then endgame, jack black and jason momoa have the "standout" performances as in i can't pick wich one is more goofy as shit and funny.
Everyone knows this is probably not the best film ever but its to funny and magically to hear everyone cheering and clapping when steve said "chicken jockey"
Kyle maclachlan was the best part
pretty solid enough but honestly im just waiting for tommorow until i see a minecraft movie
