easily sodenbergh's best so far.
i really like the characters and story in this one, the story is simple yet effective and i really like albert finney and his character.
i hope sodenbergh can keep this up.

hell yeah, this is already a step up from sodenbergh's last film.
i think the story doesn't really get engaging until the 2nd act and i think some characters were just there for more bodies at the end.
the best part was the chemistry between terrence stemp and luis guzmán.
the colors were also really cool to look at.
Forgive me sodenbergh heads but rn after like 5 movies he isn't really showcasing anything.
This film is fine but the first hour is really good but then it kinda just goes on and on and it because less interesting.
Clooney has some on screen charm here but i don't really think his character is all that engaging to follow.
The film has a great cast and i especially liked steve zahn and don cheadle.
A pretty funny film but it lacks any sort of story and while it is funny, the 3rd act really drags on.
I really like sodenbergh as the main character, like he works so well in this film.
It became engaging in the latter of its second act but before that it doesn't really know what it wants to do.

pls watch this film if you do have a chance because its worth it for just watching a 2d animated film IN THEATERS in 2025 alone.

Ngl half of the dceu has an artistic voice(gunn, wonder woman 1 and yes even snyder) and then the other is just generic superhero film with mcu ass jokes(like shazam, aquaman 1 and 2, ww 84, the flash and suicide squad.
