A beautifull dissapointment.

Look in the beginning i thought it was pretty nice,it was funny, the stageplay parts we're greatly directed but the longer it went on the more the characters started to become decent because they set up allot of things and has a large group of characters but allot of that just doesn't go anywhere.
The actors do an amazing job and its not like i hate any of the characters, i like a few of them but allot of them felt underdeveloped.

Ngl it doesn't focus allot on character development but i think the actors bounce off eachother very well to the point where it isn't a huge problem.
Its a very fun prison escape film but not like one of the best.

actually really fucking funny, the only holding it back is the 3rd act is not that good and the film didn't have to look amazing but the cinematography is fine.

Better man starts off interesting but falls into every trap every biopic falls into.
Like i get it, he did drugs but if you don't have anything else to tell, something to make your story unique then why make the film at all?
Micheal cracey direction is great and there are a few seqeunces i really liked.
The cinematography looks great but that isn't enough.
Better then something like bohemian rhapsody but that isn't a high bar.

The cast does a fantastic job, great chemistry and the film is interest but then takes a complete nosedive in the 3rd act.
The charm and chemistry was gone.

Almost Everything about this film is.........fine.
The sidecharacters are fine.
The villains are fine.
Bruce wayne is fine.
The cinematography and overral filmmaking is great and the actors give good performance....except for bale as bruce wayne.
If kilmer and clooney weren't batman he would be my choice for worst live action batman.
I've said my complaints about him as batman already so i won't go over it again.
The film feels very true to nolans vision wich is good, a film should have a directors touch all over it but on the other hand its personally a really bad adaptation and a pretty boring one at that.
The villains are fine like i said, they don't do that much for me.
Honestly i kinda wasted my time rewatching this but i wanted to give it another go, maybe i would like it after i rewatched tdk and thought that i was to harsh on it but nah.

A powerfull examination of people's silent pain and worries trapped between lies.
Cynthia is a deeply complex person, her troubles and pain are rooted in her mothers death.
Unable to get love and care for herself because she always had to be the one to give it.
She is unable to share her pain wich had spread threwout the entire family.
Hortense is a person who seeks the truth when it will have consequences, she's always known because she her mother didn't lie.
I like that detail because if you think not that long about it, roxanne and hortense are opposites on that front.
While hortense did live with the fact that her biological mother wasn't in her life, she isn't as effected by it because she got told the truth at a young age.
Roxanne on the other hand never knew about this and only got know in her 20s, she got lied to.
Its shows how lies, secrets and hidden scars can be a dangerous thing because it effects yourself and the people around you who begin to do it/have it themselves.

chin tsai looks like a fucking goddes.
anyway edward yang cooked again with this masterpiece about a struggeling couple that tries to live life.
i love the personal struggles of both main characters, it feels so real to figure and navigate life in order to get a future.
i also love how chin and lung's relationship gets tested, its such a human film.
edward yang is the goat.
