Look Away

As <B>Old Man Brad</b> <A HREF="https://boxd.it/3LjZC1">states</A>, <I>Look Away</i> is a slow burn, providing two sides to Maria's descent as an unpopular student at school, to becoming, thanks to her alter ego Airam, accepted (while maintaining a mysterious aura to her).

Once Maria discovers that her alter ego Airam can help her power through tough times, she lets go, eventually succumbing to the alter ego's power and remaining trapped behind any area of reflection. While Airam causes death and destruction, Maria can only watch what she has let happen.

The film features a fantastic performance by India Eisley, but both Jason Isaac's and Mira Sorvino's talents are wasted (it's not as bad as it sounds).

<B>Final thoughts</b>:
Don't look away. This is worth watching.
