Im sorry but could we stop accepting these sort of films that do the bare minimum?
Its definitly oke if you like these type of movies, these kinds of films that are legacy seqeuls that are safe, don't do anything new but are still better then the previous installements(most of the time)

But im not gonna sit here and say it did anything special.Now onto jurrasic world itself, its shit.
One of the worst cases of a legacy seqeul.
Visually it looks good even tho some shots with cgi look weird.
But the characters are all 1 dimensional and because of that there are no real stakes.
Jurrasic park as a movie, the first one i mean isn't and probably never was designed to have multiple installements because this is one of the most stupid universes ever.
The cinematography and somewhat good acting makes this watchable.

I didn't really like the characters, i mean yeah they aren't suppose to be likeable but i don't think there specifically good either.
I don't buy them being married, we don't get any actually happy moment.
Maybe that was the point but then they get back together after amy frames patrick neil harris for trying to kill her...and i just think it didn't work.
I think most of the sidecast are just cardboard cutouts and on top of that, i don't like amy as a character nor neil wich again is the point but how am i suppose to be invested?
Its not a movie like dune that does interesting things and builds its world threwout its morally qeustionable characters, it doesn't ask me anything about whats right or wrong.
Also margo is a dumbass ngl, she actively still helps her brother after learning he sleeps with someone else other then his wife.
Tyler perry, desi collens and more only feel like they are present to keep the plot moving.
The only thing i liked is that david fincher still directs this film pretty good and it looks good visually.
a step in the right direction but allot of things are still mid.
lets get the obvious out the way:the humans suck as characters, its not even because they're human but because they don't use them very well.
john cena was the best character but he was in it a little portion of it.
haillee steinfeld performance was actually really mediocre tbh, her acting was all over the place in the movie. especially in the emotional moments because the way she delivers her lines is very akward and weird.
a monsterous film, almost 4 hours long but i think that helps it portray its themes.
its a slow dive into the bleak world of deppresion threw a couple of characters.
the film........feels so isolated, the cinematography is so standard, to be fair it kinda helps the film.
visually it looks very grey, there is no color when having deppresion, only bleakness.
the film's side cast is mostly mean spirited folks, from two unfitt parents to a yelling man who probably let his dog kill someone else's.ho bu had allot of untapped potential we will never see, rest in peace man.
1 star and a half for christopher walken

Yeaaaah.....i didn't like this one that much.
Still amazingly shot with a mystery i was intrigeud by but the longer it went i lost interest.
I didn't like the characters all that much.
Unironically, captain man making a cameo got me more hyped then the last 6 years of marvel.
i watched the monsterous extended cut clocking in at 2 hours and 47 minutes but it was worth it for an exploration on love.
thats not its only theme but its its main theme.
it drives almost every motivation and action by almost every character.
it also shows this in a sexy and at times raunchy way.
it really asks the qeustion of what is love, at least thats how i see it.
i really like dennis hopper in this despite dissapearing for a good portion of the middle half.

There are parts to enjoy.
The somewhat weird acting. Its not amazing but i think some line deliveries are genuinely good but then others are really weirdly delivered.
The costume design is amazing aswell, the whole thing looks vibrant and unique. It does have weird vfx but it was the 80s.I know all the behind the scenes drama and all that stuff, so sad.
Imagine a film you've worked on for years just gets altered and butchered.
Anyway now the bad stuff(in the film)The film is lacking major plotpoints.
I don't care about this version of paul atreides even tho i watched a THREE HOUR CUT of the film.
It tries to do all three books at once wich is just an impossible task to do.
The film is also boring because there is nothing interesting going on.
