- new combinations of iconic cast members (Eddie Murphy + Will Ferrell)
- the return of former cast members who don't come back as often (including some of my favorites: Kyle Mooney, Vanessa Bayer, Aidy Bryant)
- people who come back a lot that I love (Kristen Wiig, Fred Armisen)
- and all the celebrities (Meryl Streep's SNL debut)The sketches were mixed, and I missed Bill Hader.

The jail piece was a little too much for me. I love that Mark Darcy initiated another brawl though, and I appreciate their reinvention of the first movie's rowboat moment by having them fight in a fountain.
Low budget using what they have to the best of their ability but some poor dialogue, not well cast or acted with exception to Sid Haig who plays a despicable villain with ease. There is a fine idea behind the story and some fairly impressive fight scenes and shootouts.
Really good score too!
(Oh, and cameos from Forrest J. Ackerman and Dick Miller!)

Unlucky in finding the right man, Alex, after numerous one-night encounters, swipes right on Kyle, a soft-spoken man with a terrible secret, and, eventually, deadly results. It takes some time for the story to fully develop while we learn about the characters and their stories. Once all is revealed, the true terror begins, and it's worth the wait as are the final results.

Swipe right on this one. It'll be a match you won't regret.

Captain America: Brave New World works for me as a Captain America movie and, weirdly, as a sequel to Incredible Hulk. If you're looking for it to be Pre-Avengers or to connect a bunch of current unconnected characters, it's not that.
Anthony Mackie is charismatic and cool, and he can also deliver serious and emotional. He's like Will Smith when he was *Will Smith*. Everyone else* is playing their parts well too, but this is Mackie's show. (*Ruth seemed miscast. I know there's controversy around the comic character, but I don't know what it is. Either way, it seemed like a miscast.)
Watchable but nothing special. It has a few good laughs. I just don't really like Casey Affleck, so having him as The Funny One is a miscast for me.
I have a foggy memory of watching the animated Dumbo and sobbing throughout most of it, and I think I was in my 20's. I decided to give this one a chance because I had a feeling it would be less depressing and would help me heal from the trauma.
People seem pretty opposed to this version, but I liked it, mostly because of the cast. A Michael Keaton Batman and Danny Devito Penguin reunion? Yes please. Danny Devito and Colin Farrell, old Penguin meets new Penguin? Of course. Eva Green? Always. Nico Parker? One of my favorite young actors on the rise.
I think Disney went overboard with the live-action remakes in a short time period, but the original Dumbo is pushing a hundred year old. It was time.
I was a little too young for the Hugh Grant of it all. I get it now. After watching this again today, during the rowboat scene specifically, I finally got it.
How crazy is it that 17 years later Thunderbolt Ross, Betty, and the Leader are back in the MCU, after the Abomination returned a few years ago? Wild, truly wild.
I think it was a miss to gloss over the origin story with an opening credits montage. Everyone might know the origin of Spider-Man and Batman; I don't think the general public knows Hulk like that. It should have at least been a proper scene or two, and then a time jump.
The chatter about this being a gossipy delight are a little overstated. The middle hour definitely gave similar vibes to the politicking in Big Brother, the Challenge, and Survivor, and that was when I was enjoying it the most. The first half hour was a little slow, and then the last half hour had two pretty big surprises. I don't think it needed the twists, but I liked them.
Overall a solid watch with a great cast. Much more interesting than the trailers led me to expect.
Brendan Fraser dances a LOT in this, including one of those school dance scenes where everyone knows the routine somehow, and I love those parts.
Overall, it's just okay. If I had seen it for the first time at a younger age, it would get nostalgia bonus points, but I was like 30 the first time I saw it. It's wild that Sean Astin isn't on the DVD cover though.
