I haven't seen this since I was a kid, and I did not realize it was so saucy! I didn't expect it, and I loved it. Then I looked it up, and it's the same writer as Heathers, so it all makes sense.

Freaky Friday inspired but the twist is that they're not related, and no one is even that freaked out about it.
Classic 90s live-action family film, which is one of my favorite subgenres. I love Mary-Kate's very thick New York accent that only exists in the very first scene.
It seems the Letterboxd community is not fond of The Purge.
The Purge is interesting because the protagonists got rich off the Purge, so I can't really root for them (despitebeing wired to root for Ethan Hawke). Then you think you can root for their kids, but the kids are sort of unlikeable and annoying, so then you start rooting for the homeless guy. Then he is gone most of the movie, so you're just sort of riding it out. I spend the movie rooting for no one, but I like it anyway. It makes me curious about the backstory and other Purge experiences, which they answered with two movies that I liked, two movies that I didn't like, and a show I didn't watch.
Long gone are the days that a PG13 film would present flashes of full frontal female nudity in the first 5 minutes.
Weird little film about a guy getting chosen to be tested by a demon in a series of challenges, but the guy has a “get out of jail free” computer strapped to his wrist. All answers lie with technology, I guess.
Feels like it's made by MTV as a spiritual successor to the iconic 2gether.
I love the first half. The cameos are fun, a little too plentiful, and I am glad we get a decent amount of Tim Meadows. I would have loved Tony! Toni! Toné! Tonee? It loses steam for me about halfway through and doesn't fully recover.

This was a lot funnier than I was expecting. I love everything with the cop friend and his boss, and I love "You know what this place needs? A large, oversized poster of Atlantic City." If I had seen this when I was younger, it would have been a movie I spent my life quoting.

Clive Barker’s classic 1987 film, a mix of romance and horror, introduced us to Pinhead, one of horror’s most iconic figures. Credited as “Lead Cenobite,” his name (Pinhead) took shape after its release. While the series declined as time went on (<i>Hellraiser: Revelations </i>is an absolute disgrace), the first film still holds up almost 40 years later, and continues to serve as an influence to many.
Thank you, Clive Barker, for this gem and inviting us into your beautiful, twisted world.

Classic W&G. Lots of sight gags and call backs to other W&G and Nick Park films.

Jack Quaid is very well cast, because he's so good at tricking me into believing he's a loveable goofy dork, but he's been a villain ever since Hunger Games. Sophie Thatcher is a star on the rise, but I'm going need her to chill until Yellowjackets ends. We can't risk her wanting out before it's done.

It’s good. I liked it, but I feel they missed a beat with showing the predator so early. The audience should have been sitting in the theater not knowing what the hell they were in for!
For what it was, a somewhat generic action film, it was a good one.
There was a time where George Clooney and Brad Pitt could carry a movie on their charisma alone, probably. This was written for that time, and that time has passed. Their banter just doesn't hit like it used to.
However, once Austin Abrams is folded in, he breathes some life into Wolfs. He is funny and disarming. He could be Timothy Chamalet's cousin. I forgive him for shooting Carl in the Walking Dead.
We've been watching one every three weeks, and I still think it's interesting how layered and fluid the timeline is, but dang, it is hard to keep track of all these pieces of the puzzle.
The story was on par with the last few, but the acting felt a lot cheesier, more Made For TV movie than the others. The beginning was too gross for me to look at. The merry-go-round part was pretty cool, and I was surprised to see Rodrick. Rodrick (still) Rules.
