The Rush Hour franchise has the best end credits bloopers of any franchise.

The first Rush Hour set the bar too high. Rush Hour 2 is still funny, and it reuses the same basic structure and updates some of the best jokes. It's just that the first is SO funny.

Beautifully shot and the effects are really impressive.
PADDED far too much. So much walking and climbing!
Some unfortunate terminology here and there and a very “crass American” approach to our hero and his treatment of “Friday.”

Welcome to the Dollhouse has been one of my favorites since I was in college. It's somehow funny while only being about things that aren't funny at all. I never recommend it to anyone but I want everyone to see it.

There are two things that stuck out to me throughout in this watch. 1) The Quadratics have some catchy tunes. 2) The costume designer crushed this. The footie pajamas. The green pants and blue top combo from the movie poster. The purple tee with a chicken holding what seems to be a cat.

I was expecting something a little different. The poster and the plot summaries all sort of center on Amy Adams starting to turn into a dog, so I thought this would be more like a Yorgos movie. When dog moments pop up, other than her playing dogs with her son, I thought "Oh right, she might be turning into a dog." There just wasn't a lot of follow through on those things. She had eight nipples, or did she? I don't really know.

If I take all the dog stuff out, it's a solid drama about motherhood. If I put the dog stuff back in, I want more of it. Let's go all in.

When this came out, I was 16 and had never heard of Neil Diamond.

Saving Silverman would be too wacky to work if it didn't have such a solid comedic cast. Steve Zahn and Jack Black can sell wacky. Steve Zahn can sell me anything.

I would love to play Boggle with Catherine Keener.

This is a movie version of "What came first, the chicken or the egg?" The chicken is this movie, and egg is its script. If I was a student, I'd write an essay about this for a class. I'm not though so let's just say this was a wild ride once it got rolling. Sometimes confusing but it always paid off.
