It's not a virus outbreak but one man's meltdown. However, we see an "infected" bird at the end. Fuck this.

I was super into the animated sequence with the grandmother's Krampus history, and I was even more into those little gingerbread men. I liked the other creatures too, just not as much as the gingerbread men. I also liked the beginning when the family dynamics were being established.

Then all the stuff between those parts didn't really hold my attention very strongly, which is surprising because of the great cast. Krampus wasn't even in it that much, but I don't really know all the lore.

Ha! This was fun! This is the film that the spoof film, “Airplane!” was based on, down to even entire bits of dialog being reused.
A bit over the top all by itself, but an especially entertaining watch if you remember “Airplane!”

If there's one thing about Jigsaw, it's that he hates cops.

I'm so conflicted. It held my attention the whole time, but there were a lot of parts that I looked away for because of grossness. The timeline trickery that weaves the movies all together is interesting, but it's also overly complicated. The contraptions are cool, but it seems like a lot of them don't have a method of survival anymore.

The title sounds sweet, but the Olsen twins get KIDNAPPED! Sure, it's by Rhea Perlman and Jerry Van Dyke, so it doesn't feel that sinister as it's unfolding, but it's a kidnapping nonetheless.

Honestly better than I expected after not seeing it for at least 15 years. I always thought Double Double Toil and Trouble was the better one. I have changed my tune.

Impressive collection of character, first time, and career twilight actors.
‘Predator’ on a VERY cheap budget. I read that 3/4 of it went to Landau and Palance! I kind of wonder what Greydon Clark could have done if he had been able to put that money on the screen

The Die Hard folks will love this one.

Not quite festive enough for me to really consider this Christmas going forward, even if they throw a Santa hat into the last scene and a Christmas song over the end credits. Other than that, it's a pretty solid action/thriller, especially for being a Netflix product. Not really the kind of movie I'm super into, but it held my attention, and I love Jason Bateman.
