A last hurrah for Universal in the monster films. (Not counting the sequels)
They could have stopped with this one and ended on a really high note.

Great twist, and all the contraptions and gizmos and gadgets are pretty cool. I prefer the simplicity of the first one though. The larger cast made it feel spread a little thin in comparison.
It’s just OK. Not as funny nor as frightening as it could have been.
The original Shrek is perfect, so Shrek 2 had huge shoes to fill from the jump. Although I still prefer the first, the second is super funny, and I love that the generation a few years younger than me is still hyping it up so hard after all these years.
Casey Affleck's hair looks like when SNL cast members are playing children in a sketch.
As a movie, I’m not sure what I think.
I feel about it the same way I feel about a painting or sculpture. Do I appreciate the completed piece, or marvel at what must have gone into its production? Would that take away from anything?
Venom 3 is super fun; I don't care what anyone says. I'm here for a good time, and that's what I had.
I like this one more than the first. The plot held my attention more, and Michelle Williams has a better wig. Most importantly, they doubled down on the Venom/Eddie banter, which I like. Also Carnage looked cool, and I still like when Venom looks like snake-Beetlejuice.
I like the cast, but I don't like wine, and I don't like these guys. I fell asleep at the end and had to rewind it 20 minutes and then fell asleep AGAIN and rewound AGAIN.
I watched this while I handed out candy to trick or treaters. Edward Scissorhands is a childhood favorite, but can you imagine trying to explain it to someone who has never heard of it? I hope someday I get the chance.
I love a blonde Winona twirling in the snow.
Overall a worthy follow up to Wandavision (my favorite MCU show). The trials were a fun way to mirror Wandavision's sitcoms-by-decade themed episodes, which is what really made it feel like a cohesive continuation.
The last episode killed the momentum for me though. It was ramping up and up, and then the finale being so heavy in explanation and flashbacks felt a little slow and deflating. I might have preferred if the last two episodes had been edited into one long one going in and out of the flashbacks.
