I love Olivia and her all-women touring band and all-women opening acts. I regret not trying to get tickets to Philly just because I didn't want to make the four hour trip from Pittsburgh. Awesome setlist with a great flow, and I especially love the last five songs with the heavier rock vibe.

Today is my thirteen wedding anniversary to my husband Brookes. When we were dating, we realized that before we knew each other we had both attended to the same advanced screening of Superbad at the theater.

Anyway, Superbad is my favorite bromantic comedy. Every single thing Michael Cera says and does is perfect. Everyone else is good too, but he is SO good.

It’s been forever and a day since I’ve watched this one. This is a REALLY well put together film!
The story clicks along and makes some sort of sense, the acting is above par for even the Universal horrors, and it is damned entertaining!

Best use of a Mariah Carey song in a movie.

Rush Hour is easily my favorite buddy cop movie. Chris Tucker's comedic timing and his chemistry with Jackie Chan are perfect. It's endlessly quotable, which is one of the most important things in a timeless comedy. I can even quote the bloopers during the end credits.

Not enough Edi Patterson. If you're giving us Judy Gemstone, I want a lot of Judy Gemstone.

This is the first time I've watched this since it came out, and I forgot basically everything. I don't feel like I will retain it this time either. It is very well paced though, with a big reveal early on, and enough important moments staggered to make the 2+ hour runtime fly by. My main complaint is that it has a stacked cast, and a lot of them don't have much screentime.

I appreciate what they attempted on a low budget and being saddled with including Insane Clown Posse, (who funnily enough were the more entertaining elements to the film,) BUT the minuscule budget was too big a hurdle to overcome.

One of the rare times I wish a movie was longer.

Saturday Night wasn't what I expected, in the best ways. It reminded me of Birdman in the way that it made me feel like I was walking through the halls and floating between rooms and conversations. The leads captured the essence of who they were playing. Lamorne Morris was the standout because I already love him. Ella Hunt was the biggest surprise.
I've only seen her in Anna & the Apocalypse, and every time she was on the screen as Gilda I found myself focused on her. I didn't know Matthew Rhys and JK Simmons were in this, so those were exciting surprises.

The only thing that really took me out of it was that Lorne looked like Murr from Impractical Jokers, and I couldn't stop thinking about it.

Iconic but in retrospect it's a little weird how a teenager being a virgin is the linchpin of the plot of a Disney movie.

Thora Birch's early 90's trifecta of Hocus Pocus, Monkey Trouble, and Now & Then is only topped by Christina Ricci's Mermaids, Addam's Family 1 & 2, Now & Then, Gold Diggers run.
